It's to do with thoe roadworks on the A48 going towards Castleton that's causing it, with the knock effect now being queues up the by pass nearly as far as the Rogerstone junction just to get on the Motorway at J28.
If you are trying to get on the M4 come off at the Rogerstone junction, take the 2nd exit at the roundabout at the top of the slip road, after a mile turn left up High Cross Lane, and then turn right at the top. This road then brings you onto the roundabout at Junction 27 where you can go east or west bound.

Yep....you're right.
I'm coming from Castleton..... so can't really avoid, but fortunately the delay is probably only about 10% compared to going in other direction.....
Never mind....only another 10 months of it............
btw, what exactly are they doing??? Strengthening the bridge or....??????

I really love the Z. I was really apprehensive getting it as I do c.40k miles a year and thought it may drive me mad spending that much time in it.
However, the car does exactly what I need from it. It cruises nicely on the motorway, to the extent that 3 hour journeys feel more comfortable in the Z than they did in my 325 Coupe!! Best of all though get it on some twistys or even a track and handles beautifully, with a nice progressive drift. It's also very practical, I can get two sets of golf clubs in the back, which again I could only just do with my 325.
In terms of negatives, the paint is awful (I have stonechips all over it), the interior is a bit dull, and it would be nice if it were at least 200kgs lighter.
All in all though I really enjoy the car, it makes me smile every day I drive it, ad for £26k I don't think anything can touch it for a combination of performance, practicality, and reliability.

That is the advantage of them poxy things, I was an usher in a wedding a few months back in cardiff and I took some Ushers up in my old Cerbera and one of the other Ushers took some up in his TT, when we got 2 Cardiff they were all moaning abt the space in the back and arguin which had the most space, so on the way back the next day we swapped the ushers over, we got back to Neath and they all agreed my Cerb was like a Rolls Royce Phantom compared to it lol
