Brighton speed trials - wonky did good
Discussion
Went to the brighton speed trials on the weekend, there is a quarter mile drag strip run for 200 cars and 40 bikes on Saturday . Its a real mix of cars of varying design and performance . This year was to 100th Birday of the event . It is said that over 300 entries were rejected .
I recorded a 2.09 seconds 0>64 foot , then crossed the line in 11.92 seconds @ 115 mph
beat all the supercars, in fact I think we beat everyting that was on road tyres - I was running the exact same setup that we had at the black cock meet ! .
I was number 81
full results and times are here ;

As per usual with your good self I'm completly at a loss as to where you are coming from ........
somethings never change eh ?
.........well it would seem so......
Didn't seem that difficult to me....as per my first comment, well done! Obviously, you did far better than I could possibly manage, especially in my TVR....
I then tried a little good natured leg-pull (obviously failed again), when, as shown in your link, mentioning that the Westfield (to which you know I have an affinity) came 1st..........
ho hum....
back to the cricket.....
Well I can only assume (in the absence of a response, and your use of selective editing) that maybe my explanantion made some sense.....
anyways....moving on...
Your plans for the Caterham shoot-out day at Avon Raceway look interesting
Any idea what the situation will be re. spectating? If I'm around I'd certainly like to see it....esp. if Arnie actually turns up.....
