Where's the best place to get an MOT Test in my local area?

Hi, just recently moved to South Wales and looking for a reputable place to get my car serviced and MOT'd in the local area. My neighbours have recommended a garage in Port Talbot, and I'm just wondering if anyone on the forums have any past experience of garages in the area? Appreciate it might be a long-shot, but I've been stung in the past with expensive and unneeded repair bills and would like to make sure it's not repeated.

If you want a totally neutral MoT, try your local council. Generally they'll do them at the site where they do taxi inspections.
