Now the Prince of Wales pont.
I think they should invent some name longer that llanfaiwotsitcalled up north. That will give the TV announcers some fun.

Welsh was never my strong point. should it post or bont then bridge name?
Either way, may name the half that is in England something then name the half in Wales something else?
Ooh, not a Welsh speaker myself but given Menai Bridge is Pont Menai, this would have to be Pont Tywysog Cymru which I believe is the translation for Prince of Wales (ish).Either way, may name the half that is in England something then name the half in Wales something else?
It would have to be a bilingually named edifice or we'd have to have a"neutral" section over the water....
Instead of wasting time and effort on the name of the bridge... perhaps Alun Cairns should focus on the state of the roads in his own constituency and perhaps considering opening up access to Cardiff International Airport...
An access road directly from the M4 at Junction 34 would make a lot of sense instead of signage telling travelers to use J33 and to fight their way through Culverhouse and join the stream of zombies who seem unable to use roundabouts or adapt their driving to the differing speed limits.
Rhoose Cardiff International Airport railway station - It's hardly on the door step of the airport, I wonder how many people use it (and the bus) to get to the terminal building....

Seems Rod Liddle in the Sunday Times has waded in. Think he is extracting the urine. BBC link as I expect there is a paywall for the times but the twitter links are funny.

Cairns is the one (of many probably) that screwed us out of money for the flat in Cardiff when he lived in the Vale.

The trouble is that the option is Bristol which involves fighting your way through Newport and idiotic back lanes, to get there. On nights when they decide to close the M4 for works, the tour of Newport is ridiculous for delay. An access road directly from the M4 at Junction 34 would make a lot of sense instead of signage telling travelers to use J33 and to fight their way through Culverhouse and join the stream of zombies who seem unable to use roundabouts or adapt their driving to the differing speed limits.

What Cardiff needs is more operators and more destinations to increase traffic which will then attract investment. BMIBaby was a big loss and while Vueling are cheap, they have very limited destinations.
