Cheap Alloy Wheel Repair
Discussion
I am on the look out for a good alloy wheel repair where the owner doesn't drive an Aventador on the profits!
Its a single 20" LR wheel in flat silver, its the only one that has damage in the set I am looking at, they are cheap at £400 for the lot but they are also on ditch finders so another £600 on new tyres.
Cwmbran's TWS will charge over £100 a wheel, I know places in London that do an excellent job for £25! With rates and unit rental cheaper here how come i can't find a cheaper place?

"Start at" £120 for a set of four IIRC.

I'll keep those guys in mind. The wheels on my Clio look terrible. The wheels sit proud of the tyre and a few minor touches have left my wheels looking horrendous (diamond cut too, so I can't respray them myself).framerateuk said:

When searching for alloys for mine, I noticed a lot of diamond cut wheels were getting the full powder treatment, They still look very good without the worry of them being diamond cut.chasingracecars said:

Yeah that's another option.I'm not a huge fan of diamond cut wheels (certain styles look great, but most modern ones are too chunky), so I've thought about just having them re-finished in black or anthracite.
I'm going to give these guys ago with one of my f10 wheels. Will report back.

Well that was a non start. I got there and they took one look at the wheel and decided it wasn't buckled enough for them. Must admit I did wonder if they'd be anything for a slight buckle. Anyway they were very helpful in not charging me for a bit of advice, just a pity they didn't offer to spin up the wheel and have a proper look at the wheel.http://www.love-your-car.com/#
Seemed a nice bunch though and I'd go back again if I needed a refurb or whatever.
