I just went to book and seen that it's all sold out. So... if anyone's booked on to this and has changed their mind, give me a shout! Any group, don't mind.
If your on fb get onto there page and message them to say if anyone drops out you will want to book and they be able to sort something out. They usually have a few drop out closer to the day.Tyre Tread said:
Depending upon circumstances I might pop along as a spectator for a chat.
Only just moved to the area and not been to Llandow so would be interested to learn the ropes.
If you can make it down I be there with my exocet wont be able to miss it really be sure to pop over for a chat.Only just moved to the area and not been to Llandow so would be interested to learn the ropes.
Well that was fun few hours.
Met a couple of fellow Tiv owners.
Sorry Chris, I didn't recognise the Exocet as I thought it was something other than what it was.
I put the stopwatch on a few cars randomly. The fastest (although it didn't seem to be) was the Porsche 911 (sorry don't know my Porker designations).
Award for best effort goes to the young man in the Corsa 1.2 who was lapping less than 3 secs a lap behind the Porsche. Corsa man also had his girlfriend in the car and she was asleep. Yep. Saw it with my own eyes and the marshalls came over to check when he came in as they ere worried she was unconscious. The tures on the Corsa wre definitely showing how hard he was thrashing it.
The red S2000 driver who was black flagged three times . No idea why.
Honourable mentions to the Integra driver just over a second a lap behind the Porsche and the red Pug 205 who was keeping up with things he had no right to.
Both S2000's seemed to be on the ragged edge most of the time and not particularly quick.
Nice little track and a lovely bacon and 'shroom melt

The 2 quickest cars through the day was indeed mine and a raw striker with a r1 bike engine nothing else really got that close. 48.00 was my quickest lap which was a bit down due to the new stronger anti roll bars and links snapping the brackets on the wishbone earlier on in the day which meant i was running without any anti roll bars, apart from that and the grill in the nose cone breaking lose at the end an awesome day.Met a couple of fellow Tiv owners.

Tyres lasted better than I thought really rate the federal rsr tyres. Some nice cars there but some equally poor driving mainly from the s2000 driver and the 2 bmw 1 series. Did find it funny that after the briefing saying don't forget not to start the car in gear someone did start his car in gear and went straight into the fence oopss.
The corse was indeed going well tbf.

I spoke to the chap in the other Raw striker thinking it was you.
I didn't put the watch on yours or the other Raw as during the period I was timing I didn't see either get a clear lap.
The Porsche was lapping just over 50s
its the only problem with llandow during the day its hard to get clear runs when your constently catching slower cars not to bad after 3.30 cause the track does get empty. 48.00 was my quickest bit slower than last time but did have slicks and arb unlike this time.I didn't put the watch on yours or the other Raw as during the period I was timing I didn't see either get a clear lap.

I was there in the White 205 rallye, had a brilliant day!
I was surprised by the Exocet, looked to be going very well!
Its not my first time there so plenty of practice there with the car, its getting better and better each time, despite the broken arb link mounts still went well only a little 1.8 mx5 engine too so not massive power.I was surprised by the Exocet, looked to be going very well!
