Audi extended warranty

My 2012 A3 1.8 TFSI's warranty is due to expire next month. Audi are quoting £489 for one year. The car only has 18,300 miles on it. I'm in a bit of a quandary whether to buy this or not. Does anybody out there have any experiences.

Had the same choice when my 250 was about to come out of warranty a few years ago. I chose not to bother and a few years later the car still hasn't cost anything over the standard services, but it's all down to your peace of mind at the end of the day!
