I'd be interested in seeing the Exocet if you end up going.

Brill will pop over for a chat you be in the alfa?
Hopefully - got a mobile mechanic coming Tuesday to fit the parts. Seems a good system and saves me towing fees to a garage, so fingers crossed I can give some positive feedback. Otherwise, first outing of the Subaru.MG CHRIS said:
Im already for this replaced the rear pads on the mx5 hopefully the weather will be fine.
Anyone else going from here.
Who is organising it and are there any track spaces left? I am not sure if he can do it but my brother may be interested in taking his Clio Cup 200 along.....Anyone else going from here.

http://www.llandow.com/trackdays/cars/A few spaces left in advanced group on Sat 26th according to Facebook.
Don't worry if he's concerned about the groups - you only do one session then open pit. Most groups are reasonably the same pace anyway apart from the few very quick Radicals etc...
PS. Alfa back and running new arb droplinks, top mounts and Bilstein B6 dampers, drive belt, injector seals and most importantly power steering pump! Mark the Mobile Mechanic from Bridgend was a great help and I'd recommend him to anyone. He may even pop along to Llandow too.

What a great day fantastic weather and meet some nice people. Shame about the puma guys being bell ends though but a few did look like having a few blow ups. During the afternoon the field very quickly dropped which left an empty ish track so no long wait to get on track.
Only problem was my soft suspension which meant my inner wheel arch liner being worn away and the pas fluid boiling up apart from that a great day.
Did try and walk over for a chat effaky but by the time I did you had gone hopefully you didn't have a major problem.

Was a great day for it and my new suspension felt great on the few laps of the track I did, but then my new power steering pump seal failed in the same way the last one did at Pembrey a month ago Only problem was my soft suspension which meant my inner wheel arch liner being worn away and the pas fluid boiling up apart from that a great day.

It must be a pressure relief valve in the steering sytem not working. I cut the drive belt and managed to get home, but lots more to fix now unfortunately!
I couldn't see a relief valve on the pump, so anyone know if its on the steering rack?

One of the reasons I don't do non-club trackdays at Llandow anymore. Those guys can be a real menace. They're always there and they're always far too aggressive.Im guessing that's the reason they have there own session in the morning.

Would love to but my exocet has the engine out at the moment and in the process of making tubular sub frames for it.
Sounds like a perfect winter project. Get some pics up! The subframes will be a work In progress via a friend of mine who is a fabricator. But hoping to get them on next year after some development work etc.
Booked in for rockingham 8th march so that will be my first track day next year.
