Evening all

We are route planning for a 20 car run-out in the Beacons. Have done this a couple of times before but its always really tricky to find a) Loo/coffee stops & b) lunch stops with good parking x 20. Looks like we are going to have to use Craig-y-Nos Country Park again(for a) ) but I would love to know if anyone has any bright suggestions!

I really like the Honey Cafe at Bronllys but we need to be a lot further south in this instance.

Cheers

Molly

When it's just me, or maybe a couple of cars I normally stop at the Pen-y-Fan car park for a. Not sure of many others that are available though?

Let us know when you're holding this, if I'm available I'll be there!

West End Cafe in Llandovery is ideal toilet and food stop large enough car park opposite for 20 cars and we normally use this as a stop off point when doing the SWales Runs a good centre point really if you wanna head further up towards Builth or head down the mountains in the direction of Llandeilo or as already mentioned Craig Y Nos (I'd also be interested in joining your group if I'm free)

Thanks guys. The West End Cafe is great but parking better for bikes than for 20 Astons wink

In return here's one you might not have thought of (we used it last year but we are approaching from the other end of the Beacons this time) - the cafe at Llangorse Lake - lots of parking space and some nice scenery.

As for our meet - over-subscribed already sorry smile

You're absolutely right & I know from experience that it is a very good venue. Mind you - we're all too tight to PAY for car parking wink

Its too close to our start point in this instance but I think I might use it another time thumbup

We really should come over the border to a South Wales meet sometime. Do any of you come over to our local breakfast club meet - http://www.shelsley-walsh.co.uk/events/content.asp... - from 9am this Sunday if you're interested smile
