The alloys are worth money, scrap value, but you will have to take the tyres off first.
If you leave them in view of the road the pie keys will have them away. I wouldn't do this as I can't stand pie keys and they would fly-tip the tyres anyway.
Maybe a tyre sales place would take the tyres off you for a few quid each?

Merthyr Salvage up by ASDA should have the lot off of you. If they wont take them with the tyres there plenty of Tyre places on the industrial estates.Preferably from the Merthyr region.
Out of interest, what alloys do you have, and how knackered are they?
