Hi all,

My sister in law is getting married early to mid 2015 I think it is and plans are already underway. Her other half is a good fella and a bit of a car nut so a few of us are considering chipping in for a more interesting ride to the church than the usual suspects.

Are there any local companies that do this kind of thing or even any locals with exotic or interesting metal that would be interested in doing something like this for a fee? I am not sure how these things work but it would be a run from his home to the church which is just a few miles but I don't really know the details as yet, its very early days and just a consideration at this point. He lives in the Talbot Green area.

Any ideas ladies and gents will be well received;)

There's a guy in this area who does weddings in his General Lee Dodge Charger. It's got the horns as well. There's also the usual stretch limos but they are really common now.

Ha ha I quite like the sound of that but it would need to turn up sideways in a cloud of tyre smoke to look right! Dont think it would suit the groom though, he's not really into americana. I dont mind them for that sense of occassion though, my wedding car was a drop top ford galaxy complete with 8 track and 60's tunes playing. A bit different and turned some heads on the M4 to say the least!!

Think he is more an exotic sports car fan. I guess anything a bit special would work but special is different things to different people. If it was for me a Lambo of almost any sort or a GT3 would be lovely! Pretty sure he has similar taste.

Cheers for the link. Didnt have a clue how much a lift to the church would be but 500 bucks seems a bit rich to say the least!! Maybe worth giving them a call i guess though.

There are plenty of nice cars in the area, i'm sure one of us would do it for a few beers.

There are some really outstanding cars in the area it has to be said! If someone was willing to do it I am sure we could sort more than a few beers.....

I am also looking for inspiration as my best mate is getting married the same year. Trouble is there are two best men and a groom so we need a four seater therefore "ribboning up" the Z4 wouldn't cut it frown

My mate happens to be friends with J. Sinclair so he is hoping to "hire" some kind of Mercedes, preferably a G-Wagon (with or without driver) although he admits the chances are slim. I would also be grateful of anyone offering their services, I am sure they would be provided with sufficient beer and petrol money should they wish to help out a fellow PH!!

There is a chap in Swansea advertising a two tone Arnage (ebay), my friend isn't a fan of that though frown
