I've got a spare Honda D16A9 1.6 16v cylinder head that needs;
1. replacment of valve stem seals
2. skimming (40 thou)
3. valve regrinding/reseating
4. smoothing of the ports and chambers to improve flow
5. intake and exhaust port matching

I'm tempted to just crack on and do this myself but am willing to let a seasoned pro work their magic, if one exists?

Cheers,
Dean

After contacting a few people suggested by Mike at R-Motion (who is a very helpful chap), I've ended up using the services of Dave Yandell Engine Services.
I should get the head back in a few weeks so will update this thread with my experiences for those interested.

Be careful with the amount of work you do to the car, if you ever decide to race it, some of these mods may not be permitted in the regulations.
But if you intend on keeping it as a track car Enjoy smile
