Singleton Park Classic Car Show Today
Discussion
That is the worst so called car show I have ever had the misfortune to attend. I felt like I needed a baseball cap a vest and a can of carling in my hand and the obligatory staffi called Tyson on a harness to fit in. £5 to get in??? I felt robbed I only hope some of the entrance fee goes to charity or I will slit my own wrists.

I enjoyed it and so did my kids I wasn't there for the people, I was there for the cars and also a fun day with the kids in the sun. I do know what you mean though about the typical stereotypes it attracted also, but things like this always attract those sort of people. I never feel I need to fit in anywhere, I am who I am simple as that (maybe that is why I attacted a few looks from some people as I looked different to most who were there )It was a bit expensive (we paid £20 for a family ticket) but again I expected it. I am not sure what the proceeds go towards, but I would someone to inform me if it does.
The weather was nice, some nice cars were in attendance, I saw a few friends who were exhibiting their cars and my kids enjoyed - I would say that is a good day to me personally
I am going to take my car there next year also - looking forward to it.

The top end of the show was good, thats more than what i can say for the Chav section at the bottom behind "The wave" stand lol. But did happen to see a hand full of half decent cars amongst them, very few though.. Did feel a little out of place without a baseball cap and no bling :-)

Was looking forward to seeing the 360 there, from what I seen, no ferrari's there at all? Unless the sun blinded me as I walked past? Defo bring it next year, especially if the weather was like today! :-)
No there wasn't a single one ! I am kicking myself for not taking mine this year now if I am honest ! The weather today couldn't have been better and only added to me kicking myself further Didn't go as I was working, Sam went and has come come back with pictures of Corsa's, Fiesta's, various modded JDM stuff and one picture of a white Porsche 930 (original 911 Turbo) which appears to have air vents in the rear arches, which means it could be an LE, one of only 50 made world wide. Anybody get anymore pictures?
There was also quite a rare XJS there, one of the last 6.0l V12's built.

There were a lot of stunning Porsche on display with PCGB, including a Junior, 964, 993 S, 968, Panamera, 944 S2, Cayman, the 930 LE, 911 E, 356 Coupe, 996 3.4, 924 race car and a right hand drive Super Sport Cabriolet. (I may have missed something out).
Andrew had his Carrera 3.0 in amongst other cars and had a highly commended certificate on his windscreen when returning to the car.
I saw Neil with the M3, Marks Razor and Anthonys R32.
There were a few Mustangs and E-Types but strangly not a can of Carling between any of them!
I know my family had a good day what with it also being advertised as a family fun day.

Quite enjoyed it myself. Nice selection of stalls, seemed like a good atmosphere when i was walking past the audience area near the stage (walking from the skyline and gtr to the stalls) and stunning collection of cars. And Mumbles Road rose to the occasion too with a Rapide and CLS63 30 seconds apart and a stunning Cobra heading Westbound although didn't see it at the show
It was chaotic getting to the show with the traffic jam off the m4 all the way to Singleton took me two and a half hours. Didn't give us much time to look around the vehicles which was a shame as there seemed to be some stunning cars on display. At least my daughter was entertained with the fair which made a serious dent in my wallet mind you.
