I'm looking into competing in the Kuhmo Race Series next year with a bmw 328 but i know there's going to be a few things I'd need technical help or advice with. (Suspension set up etc)

Can anyone recommend a garage or specialist in the South Wales area (I'm in Swansea).

Not in south Wales but I use Interpro in Bristol as do a lot of the Westfield speed series competitors. They've always got race, or rally cars in for prep work. Good reputation and well priced too.

I can recommend Tony Brown at Racers Edge. Looks after my Civic Type R and helped me prepare this and my previous car.
PM me and happy to meet up and you can see the car if you like as I am just outside Swansea. I am competing in the Welsh Sports and Saloon Car Championship which is a great place to start racing. I started last year so if you need any advice with regards starting out let me know.

Thank you all. Something to think about.

Huw, i've never even heard of the WS&SCC before (can't say the website is the most appealing!).

As a first time racer it looks like it would be ideal with low costs (being 20 minutes away from me) and a pretty good variety of car options.

Are ALL the races at Pembrey?

Just out of curiosity are you car number 95!?

It is run by the Welsh Racing Drivers Association. Check out The WRDA on Facebook. All races this year at Pembrey but in the past they have done one away race. Also there are on occasion invite races. So for example I believe we have been invited to race at Silverstone at the end of this month, although that is not part of the championship. Re costs they are about the lowest costs there is and being local no overnight costs and qualifying and races all on one day so it's great for those with families. I am number 95. Let me know if you are interested and I can help you get everything you need. Who knows maybe you could even make one race this year. I know where you can hire an entry level car if yours isn't ready.

Avia Autos are good for suspension setup, based in Bridgend but worth travelling for. 01656 645050

He's as popular as a fart in a lift on Scoobynet.

Here's one example.

But many more can be found in the search.
