As post title - has anyone done this with no issues ? thinking of taking my Ferrari to Cardiff one day next week as need to pop to there for a few hours, and was wondering if it is safe to park mine in the Saint Davids Multi Storey ?

I have parked there a few times before in the Range Rover, but never noticed an exotic of any kind in there.

Comments / experiences really appreciated please.

Never any problems. The exits can be a little tight though and I have curbed a couple of alloys there.

Seen a gallardo in there, but the 360 width would concern me given how tight the entrance is, everything else should be fine once you are in.

You could park in the museum car park. It's a 5 minute walk to the town centre and is a barrier car park, but is out door.

Parking in the day will be fine, especially at the lower levels there will always be people around. Just be careful on the ramps wink

There is a tight, never ending ramp that you'll have to go up to gain entry.

I'm sure it'll be perfectly safe to park there though, I use it all the time if I need to pop in during the evening. Always lots of people about, and plenty of spaces.

Personally i'd park it in the car park under John Lewis - better sized spaces, lack of nasty turns designed for Nissan Micras etc.

As above park in under John Lewis, it is a hell of a lot better than St Davids.

Is it just for the one day? I live in Cardiff City Centre with secure, gated (outdoor) parking. If I'm around on the same day you would be welcome to borrow my space for a few hours?
PM me if you're interested.

Alternatively, I'll be happy to be your chauffeur for the day, I'll drop you off in the Ferrari outside where you need to be, keep it safe for a few hours and pick you up when you are ready....hehe

Thanks for all your comments guys (and I really appreciate the offer to park on your drive too Bradderz352, that is very kind of you) I am going to park it in the one under John Lewis as it makes much more sense, so thanks for the suggestion smile
