Good welders/fabricators for arch replacement

I'm getting my track day Mk2 Honda CRX back on the road. The read arches need replacing and one of the sills needs a very small patch. Does anyone have good experiences with local "craftsmen" that can cut out old rusty arches and weld in new replacements?

I've tried Car-Tec in Briton Ferry (Neath) but they are too busy with a Porsche restoration. There's Old School Engineering, who I've used (and been very happy with) before but they will want to do an A1 job on the car that'll cost more than the rest of the car is worth. So I'm looking for one of those hidden gem type of welders/fabricators that may want a small private job on the side.

I'm tempted to do the work myself but my welding isn't the best so I'd rather leave the work to the pro's.

Any suggestions would be great, thanks.

Dean, I've just had my strut tops re fabricated and some other cosmetic work done by Teifion in Merthyr on the Pant industrial estate, he come recommended by a very good friend who owns a car sales and uses him frequently.

Hi Steve, I have known Tristan, through his work, for a few years now and find his workmanship exemplary, to the extent that I now use them exclusively for my cars and work vehicles.
The finish on their paintwork is, in my experience, superior to any others in the area and their prices are extremely competitive.
May I suggest that, if there is a problem, contact Tristan and discuss, as I have always found him to be a fair and personable character.

Wow small world ive recently had my car sprayed by tristan in good as new and got to say he done an outstanding job. So much so i recomended a mate who needed serious repairs to his renault clio v6, which also the repairs and spraying was outstanding.

Well, Teifion in Merthyr on the Pant industrial estate is getting my car in the next week or two. Can't wait to get the CRX back in shape and back out on track where it can scare some more expensive machinery .
