Hi just a warning for folks, know i cant name and shame but this was from a supermarket very close to the M4 and it wasnt Morrisons !
Been down here over the christmas break and on saturday evening was heading back to norfolk to pick up my son to bring him down here for new years eve.
Fuel light had come on during the day so went into said garage to get a tankfull (£60) at about 7pm from pump no2 ,had a LOT of trouble actually getting the fuel in my car,the pump kept cutting out as if the tank was full and in the end I gave up at £42.
Headed on my way to norfolk and hadnt got as far as the rugby ground in Talbot,400 yds ? before the car started missing and making such a noise I thought my exhaust had gone ! car was very rough ,no drop in RPM and slighty down on power and by the time I got on the M4 i had injecton fault light up on the dash.
Car was terrible to drive but kept on and the fault did get better slowly, put another £15 fuel in at Magor which made the problem seem worse for the 1st couple of miles then getting better slowly all the way back with hardly a hint of it by the time I got home.
Had 1/2 miles of rough running when the car was started on sunday morning but after that was ok,full tank of fuel in Norwich then a perfectly normal trip back to Talbot.
Went and tried to explain to the said garage that there was a problem with their pump/fuel and got what I can only describe as a hostile /negative responce.
I wasnt blaming them/looking for compo only trying to stop other people having trouble !
