Not this time. Hoping to do one more track day before the winter sets in proper though. You still coming out to play Sunday?

Yeah I will be there in my Alfa. You bringing the TVR? If so, I look forward to hearing it!

Yep in the TVR.

Not as loud as it used to be, but still sounds good!

Did I see your alfa at the caring with cars event over the summer?
Looks pretty mean!

I was thinking of going up to have a look, but I've got a job on now. What time does it start & finish?

Yeah was a good day. Another set of tyres shredded. Fun watching how quick the Radical was.

Great weather and Owain's TVR was going really well too smile

Hope to be back in Nov or Dec and catch up with more of you guys...

Nice to meet a few of you yesterday.

The Chim seemed to behave itself, and didn't seem to have any issues.
I had a bit of a mishap by the tower (in front of everyone!) but other than that it went well.

Pic of me trying to catch up with effkay:

The Alfa looks great! Will have to pop up next time you lot are there, live 5 minutes away and have never properly been to the track!

What lap times are you getting and what top speed, which is presumably on the approach to the tower before hitting the brakes?

Think I worked out 56 seconds from my videos and nudging 95mph on the straight. Many were much faster - the Radical was doing 45 second laps I timed! Good fun though smile

I had a trackmaster android app running, which logged my lap data.

No idea how accurate it is, but according to that my fastest lap of the day was 53.7, seem a bit too quick really. Most were 56/57 seconds, with some slower one's depending on who I was stuck behind!

Top speed according to the app was 87.80 (of the laps I was recording).
Again not too sure how accurate it is!

Yes, the Radical would be quick around there. It's a great track for some fun, pity it wasn't a bit longer.

I have some videos from some years ago, I'll have to see if I can find them.

I'm sure it could go round much quicker with someone else behind the wheel, but I was a bit scarred of binnnig it!

Just checked some video of some laps in a GT86 recently and laps were about 55seconds and indicated 93mph top speed (maybe a few less). So that wasn't bad for a car on narrow tyres. smile
