Clown driver in Caerphilly yesterday afternoon
Discussion
So there's some temporary road works in Caerphilly at the moment with a set of temporary lights at the junction with St Martin's Road. Coming home last night and the traffic coming down the hill are forming a queue through the roadworks to the permanent traffic lights in the village such that when the temp lights go green for northbound no-one can move. Temp lights go red again just as teh queue clears and the two cars at the front go anyhow just to get some cars through - understandable. We all move up two spaces.
At this point I hear engine revs and wheelspin and this clown driver in a lovely pink top pulls out around 7 cars back in the queue and goes wrong side of the road past the queue and then tanks it through the roadworks at about 30mph. He probably passed the red light around 10 secs after if went red !
Fortunately the cars in the side road that had the green saw the idiot coming and waited.
If there was a mdeical emergency or similar then fair enough (I suspect not) but 30mph through there was life-threatening to other drivers who would have got broadsided or a head-on with this clown. It's the way these people just think they're better than everyone else that gets me.
I'll let you all take 1 guess at what brand of car he was driving !

Sorry about that. Have to laugh at your seeming anxiety over being associated with a Saab!
Not at that age in life yet then I take it? Lol. Fair enough.
Yeah, may be old enough to drive one but still a petrolhead at heart. Saabs are ok but not for me. No, the name is related to music, not cars. Not at that age in life yet then I take it? Lol. Fair enough.
