Day out in/around Cardiff

Hi guys,

Some of you might remember me from a few of the south wales hoons, I had the white Megane R26 and then the Orange 350Z?

Anyway, for my birthday we are spending a weekend back in cardiff (Penthouse suite at the radisson Blu as a treat from the Mrs ), although i used to live there i cant really think of anything to 'do'.

Budget not an issue, dont mind driving a bit either, just looking for something different and fun.

Weekend of the 14-16 September.

Rally GB is on that weekend, service area and the Sunday finish down the bay.

This idea might not go down very well with your other half though

I'm sure someone will suggest alternative wife friendly ideas shortly

You can get rides on ribs out in the bay and channel. Something I keep meaning to try. They strap you in fairground ride style and try to scare you I think?

Dr Who exhibit is now open in Cardiff Bay, some nice places to eat down there as well.

Try and do as locals do: Get into Wetherspoons early as possible, hit the gas, have a rumble, throw up, abuse the emergency services, crash out and forget you it ever happened. The Missus will love it. ;);)
