Stag-do activity

Planning my stag-do in Swansea and Cardiff in September, on the Saturday morning I want to do some karting/track day/general motor-themed fun.

Do any of you know of any good tracks or karting centres?

Also Llandow have 2 trackdays in September on the 8th and 29th
Pembrey have one on the 15th I think. Better track but more expensive.
Failing that a blast around the black mountains might do the trick.

How about going white water rafting in Cardiff for something different?

Llandow have a good karting track but it's outside so you may get a bit wet. The Superkart place in Newport is indoors and is good.

Recently went on a stag do in Swansea. Went to Skidz in Fforest Fach. 14 of us in total. 7 on a track at a time, 3 heats to start with, fastest lap times made it into the semi final (which was everyone, as there were 14 places in the semi), 8 fastest lap times went on the final race based on finishing positions.

My only criticism was there wasn't many overtaking opportunities, I started the race in 2nd and finished in 2nd, pretty much stuck to the rear bumper of 1st place the whole way round! Huge fun though.

Spent the rest of the day/night/morning on Wind St, unsuccessfully chasing skirt

When did swansea have a go kart venue!!
I've never known about it.

Time to visit I think
