My normal tyres supplier (City Tyres) doesn't have a tyre suitable for my Mustang.

The car has 20 inch chrome wheels so I am looking for a trustworthy and careful tyre fitter who can supply chrome valves and offer a wide selection of tyres near Cardiff or Caerphilly.

It's an odd combo of 255/35 x 20 in a tyre where there must be a 285 or 295/30 x 20 available for when the rears need replacing.

Celtic Tyres are the only ones to provide a price for physically available tyres. They are in Cardiff and Bridgend. Any views?

One of the guys left King David Tyre (Newport) and is now mobile who does the tyre's for a friends GT3 which has black rims with a polished lip. No complaints and a good price.

Waiting for a text back on the details, but the info might jog someone else memory

Got a puncture in one of the rears of the new Merc which has polished rims....literally had 300mls on the clock. Took it to King David (Risca) and to be fair they couldnt have looked after the wheel any better.

Thanks. I've chucked an e-mail to King David so hopefully they will have a suitable tyre available.

It's annoying as I blew a front one on one of those stupid built-out kerbs on a pelican crossing (passing a lorry - LHD, couldn't see it) and managed to take a slice out of the rear sidewall at the same time. Only good thing is they have about 11k on them and are 6 years old anyway.

I've used Celtic Tyres in Bridgend for years with all my cars including single seaters with massive slicks and never had any issues. They always take great care.

They've certainly been the most help so far in trying to meet my needs even if, ultimately, they are hamstrung by not being able to get certain tyres.

Anyone in the Swansea area any good? My rears are due to be replaced soon and the people I usually use I don't trust with expensive rims.

Always use Celtic, in Bridgend, for tyres and always receive excellent service.
Recently, in an emergency, used their Cardiff depot and expected less, however I was pleasantly surprised with the extremely friendly service!

Not used Celtic Tyres for tyres, but did have four wheel alignment done there. Was very impressed with them. That was the Bridgend branch.

i alway used valley tyres in pontypridd when i worked locally, they originally put the tyres on my gd and didnt mark the alloys. Were always good on prices too but not sure on those sizes!

Atlas Tyres Cathays, Cardiff. Great guys, know their stuff and look after both customers and wheels. Took my TVR there for years and now my AMG.

Been to valley tyres today, they can do 20inch alloys, just phone and ask for prices, he can get near enough any tyre you want, and prices are usually very good, normally £5-£10 more than what is on camskill. 01443 405521

Looks like it will be Celtic Tyres in Bridgend based on the numerous helpful responses received from there and a good price on Michelin Pilot Super Sports.

I found Celtic to be cheaper than Camskill on Michelins. MPSS are a good choice.

Let us know how you get on for price and service, I'll be needing some super sports in a couple of months.
