Pencoed Classic Car Show
Discussion
Yeh, I'm going.
I'm taking my old M3 and it'll be good to see some other Piston Headers there.
I go each year and there is usually a good turn out.
My father is one of the show organisers and so I like to show my support.
I'm not sure if you guys are aware but every penny raised from the show goes to several local childrens charities, normally about £8000 gets raised and most of those charities cant survive without the donations from the clsaaic car club.
It's well worth supporting.

I'll keep my eyes peeled for the M3. My neighbour & his father in law are members of the club, went along to one of the meetings, they were giving a cheque to one of the charity's. The woman receiving the cheque said the charity would not be there without the annual donation.I'm taking my old M3 and it'll be good to see some other Piston Headers there.

I'm taking my 100e and a US Air Force F350 truck. Come and say hello.
Nice to meet you today, thats a long truck. Didn't see an E30 M3 there, but stuff was still arriving when I was walking round. MG Chris, was yours the red Quantum on Irish style number plates? Saw the car but no one was with it. Bumped into a few other faces I've met on PH runs as well. Got talking to the owner of this, turns out we live a few streets apart, but I have never seen the car. Great show. Good to meet Huw and others who spoke up for PH.
Pencoed is a show of hidden gems, like the Riley 1.5 in a truly rare colour with only 33K on the clock - even smelled like a new car. Also the MK1 Cortina Estate in GT spec made for the South African Police.
Our next outing will be Barry on 10th June.

Yes that was mine if you went past during the morning if was out buying bits for it and my next kit car bought a lovely twin back box for it that will be going on soon.
The show was the biggest ive seen for 3 or so years mainly due to the weather great to meet up with old mates and meet new ones too some new cars haven't seen before. But am regretting being out in the sun all day as i caught the sun quiet badly just hope we have a better summer to enjoy the shows this year.
