Just wanted to do this thread as I like using and need to use V power in my car I know of a few just if I travel further a field was wondering if yourselves knew of any?
I have tried Shell locator just doesn't seem to work for me.
Hopefully someone can by the end put a nice spread sheet up cos I can't.
These are the ones I know :-

There are 2x Shell petrol stations selling V power in Tonypandy in the Rhondda.
Sarn service station Bridgend off J36 M4 selling V power.
Pentwyn Cardiff off the A48 selling V power ( If memory serves me)
Fabian way Swansea or near to Fabian way selling V power.
Also I think I can remember not far outside Caermarthen towards Tenby.
If there are anymore you can think of please can you add them.
Cheers
Jeff

Thanks.
I see the reason why the locator didn't work for me is that there are not many Shell service stations in Wales.
I wanted to go for a run to Merthyr and possibly Brecon can't seem to find any up that way to be able to top up with V Power.mad

I use Total 97 on Nantgarw Hill in my supercharged Mustang and never had any issues.

What does your manufacturers guide tell you?
On the petrol cap of my car it says 98 ron but having tuned the tuner has recommended V power only but if i do get caught short he stated use anything else but don't use the car with a heavy right foot.

I suspect the Mustang tune is a 93 US tune which is around 99 but the fact is that most cars have knock sensors and will pull the timing rather than letting the car grenade itself. Even on full throttle, I can't dtecet any pinking and there seems very little difference between the Total 97 and the Tesco 99 in terms of performance (not enough to worry about anyway and again it's much further to Tescos). I don't use V-Power because the nearest Shell is Pentwyn which is miles away.

I also sometimes use Sainsburys 97 on occasions too.

Both my cars require 98 octane and I use Tesco Momentum which in fact is 99.

If your cars been mapped on v power use only v power or it will cause det problems as stated by your mapper you can use other fuel but stay off boost, I personally make sure the cars full on the trip away and leave enough to return i wont risk the problems other fuel may cause

Cheers Yos out of about £30 on a drive with V Power and not on boost i get about 100-120 miles if a little heavy right footed now and again i get 70 ish miles that's why I wanted to know where the Shell garages are.

I only put less fuel cos it's more economical,in a £70 tank it obviously makes the car lighter.
Weight is everything when it comes to performance and In this current climate also Cost effective.

the difference on the road will be negligible, in truth V power is no better than Tesco 99, its the freshness of the fuel that matters more

I'm in the same situation, car is mapped for V-power...

I take it you've tried 'Shell Motorist' app? It works for me. It only shows the stations near your current location or near the location you type in via the search.

And yes, it does show what fuels are sold at each station, though I'm not sure how accurate it is. I use Penygraig mostly..

ETA, you can also use the route planner which shows the stations along your trip which is handy. I think most are along the M4 though.
