Craig, (long time lurker-this is my first post btw)

I'm in the same position as yourself (trying to sell a vacant place since early last year in Swansea). It's competitively priced and I'm not deluded-I just want shot of it now (I'll lose about 20% on what I paid but you live and learn!)

I'm not sure on what the rules are with regards to potentially libelous comments on here but I can tell you that the one with the same name as a comic family are ste and I suspect that they *allegedly* lied to me in order to secure a further period of sole agency and came out with the classic 'I didn't realise that we had to keep you informed if someone wanted to view your property' and struggled to spell the name of the property I wanted to be sold and got the postcode wrong repeatedly. I had one viewing in 14 weeks. Don't touch them with a bargepole.

On the other hand, Wewillhomes appeared to be professional but only managed to secure 1 viewing for me in over 5 months. No major issues with them other than the obvious-very professional but struggled with getting people to view.

I'm currently using Peter Alan and whilst I was wary of using them, they've managed to get 3 interested parties in the last month or so. Time will tell whether they will sell the place for me but they're not cheap.

If you need a solicitor recommendation, I can give you the name of one I dealt with for my house purchase in Mumbles and was very good (I don't benefit from recommending him at all btw)

Hi Craig

Speak to Mike or Gill at Marina Quay Properties - as long as you pitch it at the right price you shouldn't have an issue selling. There are still buyers around - but those in the know are staying away from the tower.

Have bought and sold a few properties through them over the years; but for rentals / management we use the one just around the corner from them Marina and SA1).
