Why not? Tyre rotation can be a service item, loads of rotating patterns are possible and there's plenty about it on the net. If you have directional tyres you can only change on the same side, unless you want to get them off the rims.

There are mixed thoughts on this.
If you put worn tyres on the back, in rain especially you'll have less grip on the back than the front, which could cause you to oversteer. With the less grip on the front you're more likely to understeer, which is a bit easier to correct.

All that said, I've rotated my tyres many times and not had a problem....
