a bit closer to home and 'look' like a decent place. I'll probably be in touch with them soon so I'll let you know what they say

I've heard a few stories about them, all third party so unable to confirm or deny, none have been positive. a bit closer to home and 'look' like a decent place. I'll probably be in touch with them soon so I'll let you know what they say

Think you are after John at http://www.manualgearboxrepairs.co.uk/ do beleive he is known locally as John the box. They recommended some John from Manual Transmissions in Swansea, anyone have any info on them??
He did a manual box for me in a volvo in 2009, was making a dreadful noise, renewed the full bearing set, drive in and out service car back within days. Cheaper than any other option I could find and no problems since.
I would return as I was more than happy with the service and result.
