Can't help in Cardiff, A good mate of mine is an award winning butcher here in Neath though? Supplies most of the nice restaurants in the area.
Cole's presumably;) I can say absolutely they are the VERY bestAlso try White Lady Farm in Aperpergwm for organic 'on site' meat; real quality

I've had some beautiful rib eyes from Martin Player in Whitchurch.
The first lot of rib eye's I had from here were very good, the second time not so. He didn't know how long the meat had been hung for either, which surprised me a bit. When I got mine, about a year ago, he knew the breed, farm and how long it had been hung for.

Or really +3, because that's how many people one of those baguettes can feed!
Yep Dave is excellent.Or really +3, because that's how many people one of those baguettes can feed!
Alternatively try Driscoll's in Pontcanna - ask for Dave and talk to him about cars - should secure you a bit of discount, and at their prices its welcome!!
Finally, at the other end of the price spectrum, theres Prings on Crwys Road. Always a queue there, terrific value and excellent steak which they will cut to order if you ask nicely.
