Bad/Dangerous Driving name and shame
Discussion
looked through a few pages but not noticed on like this.
along the lines of the Spotted . . . thread, but this one is for poor, appalling or just downright dangerous driving.
Up to you if you want to post Reg numbers, or if you know they are members here you can name and shame them for their crime.
This happened to me Friday night, some tt in his 1.4 Clio (silver, reg ends in UCB) decided it would be a good idea to come tearing up behind me in a 30mph (residential area) and come tearing round me (on a bend no less, which would have given him minimal line of sight ahead of me) at what i can only guess was 60/70mph. The fact that it was less than a minute before he had gone out of my line of sight leads me to believe those speeds, take into account it had not long been raining heavily and conditions were poor at best.
Now before everyone jumps on this post and calls me a plodding old granny, yes im aware everyone speeds, guilty of it here too, but those speeds in a residential area are nothing more than stupidly unacceptable, and a Friday night at pub closing is just ttish! (there were many youths stumbling about, probably celebrating exam results).
its times like this i wish either i was an unmarked copper or there was one about to witness it.
Mods if this thread is deemed unacceptable then by all means remove it

While this works in theory, the time I have taken this action the bobby in question seemed less than interested. Something like not witnessing the violation makes it hard to take action. Got fobbed off with details have been taken and we will investigate in due course. Which I translated as bugger off mate your keeping me from my doughnuts
I was more intending for ph regulars who get busted to take not that they may be behaving like a cock on the road, and correct it. I'm even happy to be name and shamed in here if im being a dick.
