Cardiff On-Airport Parking now reduced.

Just a heads up to those who were as annoyed as I was about the increased car parking charges at the airport - they've now climbed down and you can book through NCP for the same sort of price as Airparks and the like. I just paid £56 for 8 days in September, rather better than the £80-odd quid they wanted a month or two back. Glad I waited now.

I wonder if they're still charging for the luggage trollies...

Do you still have to go through the car park & pay to pickup or drop off?

You have to go through the car park, but you have a short amount of waiting time before you actually have to pay.

Not sure if any of you know, but there is a company in St Athan that will securely store your car and pick you up and drop you off at the airport, cheaper than NCP I would have thought.

Alternatively, I live a few minutes from the Airport, anyone can feel free to deliver their car and keys to me to "look after" whilst you jet off

yep, and I think it’s only something like a 5 min wait, which is no good for those of us who drive a Taxi, as more often than not my passengers don’t have their phones on to inform me of their delay through arrivals/baggage.

Meaning I have to do a loop about 5 times before they come out, since they stopped you parking on the road leading up to the airport

I have recently used a gentleman named George recommended to me by a friend but you can also find him on e bay, put Cardiff airport parking in the search engine and he popped up, cost me £45 for 17 days, I believe he charges £20 per week, he's based on the main road as you go to the airport.He is waiting for you to arrive transfers you to the airport and stores your vehicle securely while you are away.His number is 07774703873, his home phone number is on e bay.I will be using him every time I go from Cardiff Wales airport.
