yep it had a speedjam logo on the can, and a code under the ringpull. i bought one can, its enough for 5 attempts at the challenge, all of mine were good enough, its basically a top down racing game.

Just a little bump to see if anyone has heard about tickets yet?

where in the bay is it being held? Even those without tickets should get a semi decent viewpoint? The noise alone would do it for me cloud9

It's in the Western Avenue one today.

Anyone in the Bay area give any info as to what we're likely to be able to see without tickets....???

From the web site -

Although Red Bull Speed Jam is a ballot allocated ticket only event, you’ll still be able to see some of the action and enjoy the atmosphere if you are in or around Cardiff Bay this Saturday.

Also, we’ve just heard Mark Webber will be doing a Q&A at Walkabout on St Mary Street in Cardiff between 6pm – 8pm

Just back from this. What a great afternoon, to be able to get so close to the action is rare these days and I really enjoyed it. The aerial display was jaw droppingly good.

Really pleased to see this kind of event in Cardiff. Red Bull tastes yuk, but their events are fab.

The airplanes were just wow! there is no other way to describe them.
The sound of the f1 and the nascar were frankly the best things i have ever heard.
I would of liked it if they drove a bit faster but hey you can't change the weather.

On a little extra note i parked in a street near the event and seen a lovely Gt3 RS so if you are on here you have an amazing car!

I went yesterday and also enjoyed it. Thought it was a good event considering it was free. It was well run and the NASCAR sounded fantastic: highlight of the day!

Looks like it was fun. Frustrating how little detailed information was available about how/where/what...

We had a great day out.

We didn't manage to get tickets and turned up on the boardwalk to find out we had almost the best seats in the house to watch the Red Bull Matadors do their aerial display.

We then bimbled around the entrance for a bit until one of the marshalls spotted us and called us over and gave us all wristbands. We got in just in time to see the big crash in the first gokart heat.

The F1 car and the NASCAR were deafening and I feel a little sorry for Pfeiffer on his stunt bike, the Roald Dahl plaza is like ice in the rain and he fell off a couple of times.

It looks like it's going to be a regular thing from the commentary so I will be keeping my eye out for next year.

We were stood right by where the go-kart crash hapened and Chris Pfeiffer spent quite a bit of time there doing some good stunts as the tarmac was ideal for him. Was very impressive to watch him so close up.
Have to admit, I did flinch when one of the go-karts in the crash looked like it was going to end up in my lap smile
