Hi guys

Got a Volvo Torslanda 1998 that's overheating. I've replaced the thermostat & header tank cap but all points to a head gasket gone.

I don't want to take it to Volvo for obvious reasons! So is there someone in the Bridgend area, maybe someone who works from home, who'd like to take this job on?

Cheers

John

I know - since I sold my Atom I feel rather lost!

Anyway, when my V8 Atom arrives, I'll feel better. Just now I need to find someone to fix the overheating of my old banger of a Volvo estate.

Cheers

John

An ex-colleague set up his own garage in Bridgend last year: http://www.tjautos2010.co.uk/find_us.html

He’s a Toyota Mastertech and used to work for Volvo before he went to Toyota wink

Checked the website and the only way to contat them was by a webform enquiry! No phone details.

Had to take my car elsewhere!

Sorry John, I didn't realise there was no phone number! If you need it in the future its 07565 227 112

No problem, thanks for the suggestion.

I do think they should have a telephone number on their website - webforms are just slow and you never know if they work!

I totally agree. I'll be advising him to add a phone number before he loses any more potential customers smile

I could get the number of a family friend who is a mobile mechanic from Llantwit Major if that would be any use?

Would be ideal but I don't have a garage! Well, I do BUT, it's full of junk!

He felt it might be a little "impersonal" if he quoted you via me, so he'd prefer to chat with you himself. I got his garage number off him, its 01656 858 125 (he's open Saturday mornings). Or he did say he'd call you if I could get your number lol wink

I feel like a middle man here, but I'm not on commission! Honest guv! biglaugh
