I've managed to pick up a nail in an almost new Toyo R888. It's about 50mm in from the side wall so should be fine to plug.

What I'm hoping for is a recommendation for someone who is going to do a good job on the repair and not scuff my wheel!! Bridgend or Cardiff area please?

Cheers.

S&T in Pencoed repaired mine (888) after it picked up a nail when being serviced at another garage!

I use them to fit my 888's which I order from Camskill direct and get them to deliver to them. My personal experience with them has been good and they have always been careful and I remember the first time I went there they noticed the depth of my TD alloys would have been scratched in their flashy new machine so they used their old one! Have had three sets of rears fitted and no marks.

You won't believe this I've come into work today (daily car) and the tyre moniter warning light came on and low and behold I have a rusty screw in the rear drivers side tyre!!! Thankfully in the middle as Conti Sport 3's are bloody expensive!

I've always used a guy called Ioan - Goodcall Tyres and Aircon.
He'll come to you - which is why it's convenient for me.
£18 I paid for my last tyre repair

My rears are more worn that I had thought - these R888's don't last too long smile

Problem seems to be that there are none in the country until August!! I need a pair of 295/30x18's.
