First time of going and quite disappointed by it really. I do get miffed by mown fields where they don't collect the grass - the double-decker bus looked like a barn when the rains came and I dare say many of the cars took a harvest home with them.
They also need to go to the Billing American Car Show and take a look at how it is possible to have shorter rows of cars without miles of bloody string and tape that manage to wreck every photo you try to take. The Mercedes lot were particularly guilty of this. Just no need for it. Plus if they lined them across the field, they wouldn't have massive long avenues of cars you have to walk up and down.
However, my thanks to the guy who, after scaring the living sh*t out of my 5 year old son by revving his Ferrari 430, let him sit in it.
Some nice cars though - loved the gullwing SL and the Mk I Manta amongst other stuff and I loved the 1976 Kawasaki KH400 identical to the one I drooled over every Saturday in the window of Horsmans of Liverpool when I was 16. Little things...
But as I say, the manner of display was poor. If anyone thinks a piece of string will keep people away, they're bonkers, because some people have no respect regardless. Probably won't be going next year.

Quite enjoyed the show myself, same layout as always, weather was lousy at times, grass was a bit long and lots of ropes between the cars, but who cares , some nice cars to be seen. Will be there again next year. They also need to go to the Billing American Car Show and take a look at how it is possible to have shorter rows of cars without miles of bloody string and tape that manage to wreck every photo you try to take.
