Semi RIP, Shark are now Racingline LTD (previously Volkswagen Racing) but they will only deal with VW group now and has to be of a certain age.
Yes, I heard Ben went to work for them. Cardiff Remaps are closest dealer to me, Racingline maps similar cost to APR and Revo, ie around £700 (they are an APR installer too). £500+VAT gets you their own custom map developed on their dyno, no idea how good or bad they are. Tbh, if I was going down the custom route with a VAG I'd probably go to HEX8 based on what I've heard / read.

Just been quoted £249 by Indigo for a s1 map for my Superb, but no mention of whether it's in-house developed or a generic tuners map.
Avoid Indigo like the plague

Worth giving these a call, they’re in Chippenham so a little further but have an excellent rep.

I’d say avoid Cardiff remap. I’ve had a bad experience going there.
If you want to speak to them then speak to them in person as they regularly hang up and get agitated very quickly.

They are professional in person.

I’ve done 40k+ in my car. Whatever, they did to my car honestly made no difference.

Prices were reasonable.

If they say they will get back to you - trust me they will not.

This was my experience- it may not happen to you.

I heard Celtic tuning is decent but haven’t tried them personally.
