Castor angle - solutions
Discussion
Resonse to my question on this was pretty poor.
Walking the dog and the Haynes manualfor Granada gave me time to think.
If the car is level and a spirit level is used vertically from a central point on the top ball joint doxn past the axle to ground. At the point where it crosses the axle there should be a 4-5 degree angle in a forward direction to a central point on the lower baal joint, thus creatiing a rearward inclination.
Would this work??

Gawd knows. What are you trying to do? If you're just after the castor angle, you can measure this indirectly using a camber gauge and a protractor.
Cheers,
