my dead 280i

I have a 85 280 in need of my attention. It ran poorly, so i dissembowled the injection distributor, thinking it was dirty. Bad, bad choice. Does anyone know what other car uses that distributer(US version}, or does anyone have one for sale? Also, does the 4.0 from Explorer etc, fit?

i think the 4.0 would fit in, i havent taken any measurments but it looks like it would.
