ive been looking around and i have found that the front brakes for my 1985 tvr 280i are the same as the ones found on the mk II ford granada. is this true? if so do they make up graded front brakes for the mk II granada? where can i find them? im looking for cross drilled brakes disk w/ posably 4 piston calapers. if anyone knows how to help me please let me know.

You're quite right the front discs are 2.3 granny. An easy & cheap (160quid) upgrade is just bolt on the thicker vented disc and wider caliper with more pad area from the 2.8 granadas. With a decent pad and braided hoses this made a big differnce to mine without going to the expense of 4 pots etc. Another cheap and easy mod is to brace the master cylinder to stop it moving about, take a look under the bonnet while someone else leans on the pedal and you'll see what I mean. Finally make some ducts for the rear inboard calipers as they get a bit warm with heavy use and will also give you a soft pedal.
