quote:GreenStuff is OK, sometimes feels a little iffy on really cold mornings but so does the driver come to that. The other grades are NOT recommended for road use. In case you're interested, the grades are: Green 0-500C high wear, Red 50-700C medium wear, black 50-800C low wear, Blue 50-850C very low wear. Basically as you go to harder compounds they run at higher temperatures and last longer, but they need to be warmed up to work.
I have red stuff pads fitted (brought to mind after brakes on how fast 350 etc thread) Came with the car (not fitted by me) are these a bit dodgy on a road car? The brakes are not as good as my old 350. They do the job but need a bit more welly at times.
Cheers,
Peter Humphries (and a green V8S)
