Hello all
Just thought I'd pass on a recent mod of mine which has worked really well. Wrapping the exhaust manifold in fibreglass wrap / tape. It's massively reduced the underbonnet temperatures which should extend rubber hose life etc. Also it has made mine much easier to start when hot, as well as definitely producing more grunt. The air temp reading from my ECU used to get up to about 50-60°C and now only reaches 25-30°C. Smart!
And I promise I don't own the company.

One word of warning. Although the exhaust wrap does a great job of reducing the under bonnet temp. beware of cracks in the manifold as the heat will concentrate itself more around this area.
