Try Autographix - Tel: [phone] they made up the originals for the factory.

Still investigating!

It looks like a bastardised version of 'Serpentine'. I haven't had a chance to chase Autographix yet but I think that TVR had it designed for them.

Hi Stig,

Serpentine / bold / oblique - Nope!

Looks more 'Lethal Weapon' (the film) than 350i !.

I will consult my big book of Adobe typefaces....

Ahhh, that's why I said looks like - not 'is'!

I checked the ITC and Agfa ranges but to no avail. The search continues although I'm probably better off taking a digi pic. and re-artworking them in Illustrator. Then it's off to the vinyl cutters!

Yeah but I always find that I end up doing as much tweaking to the resulting vector as I would by doing it by hand in the first place!

The good thing will be that I can also use the .ai in 3D Max for animation and all sorts of stuff.

Bear in mind that is not so much a typeface - more like IN-YER-FACE. It's is a TVR and it's not supposed to be subtle (and I like it that way....)
