Spent 45 minutes last night adjusting the winduz on the Wedge AGAIN !!

Scraped my arms to bits trying to get that interior door locking button thingy back in the hole too

I know what your going to say – TAKE THE ROOF OFF – and I did but I don’t feel secure leaving it with no roof on for any length of time in some places.

Anyone tried some heavier duty cables or some other way of sorting this.

i can sympathise .. been though the same problem myself.

I am looking to replace the door opening mechanism because every 2 - 3 years the bloody connecting rod rusts through.

The inside of mine seems to have been covered in waxoyl. All the rods look ok at the mo, I'll keep an eye on that, thanks for the heads-up J.

I leave the roof off mine whenever I park (unless it's raining). A new roof is more expensive than anything I leave lying around in the car.
