Whilst looking at buying a new battery for my Tas 200 I realised that the size of the battery has to be somewhat smaller than one recommended for a 280/350. This is because the bonnet release cable goes through the bulkhead about 2 inches from the side of the pedal box, right where the battery sits. I would like to move the cable and fit a bigger battery if possible.
Could anyone tell me where the cable exits the bulkhead on a bigger engined Wedge (assuming that is uses a cable and not more solenoids, wires and relays).
Thanks.

Can't be too helpful as my battery (on a 280i) sits on the opposite side to yours, just in front of the bulkhead. There's not a huge amount of potential for a very big battery there either.

IIRC the cable on mine appears in the same place.

On my 400 the cable exits via the same hole as the speedo cable positioned beneath the clutch master cylinder.

Thanks for the replies.
Could you tell me where the handle is mounted in the car. Mine is at the side of the drivers footwell just under the dash. I could move the cable to exit the bulckhead with the speedo cable but it may be at a very tight angle.

Thats where mine is situated too, to the right of the steering wheel under the dash, it is a bit of an angle but seems to work ok!
