I need to slacken / disconnect the dashboard sufficient to get access under the centre part (transmission tunnel cover) to renew the gear lever gaiter and the handbrake cable.
This centre part appears to be joined to the main dashboard part
I have identified the securing for the tunnel part of the dashboard.
Any information on the location of all the main dashboard securing points, and any other snags likely to be encountered would be welcomed.

Found out mine was missing the nuts, just wedged in, wich was nice. Ment someone had already been down that route and left it easy for me. Just pulls out now.

Mines the same but im the guilty party. Left all nuts and screws out and wedges in a treat.Held in by Centre box only.
Only advice is watch out for your knuckles on the two nuts on either end ouch!!

Thanks for the replies, I have the veneered panels out. I now need to loosen the main dashboard unit enough to allow me to raise the centre extension over the gearbox to get access between the fibreglass dashboard centre extension and the body under it. ie lift the bit that the gear lever and handbrake lever pass through.
