Anyone know where to get some new carpet from and, how easy is it to fit carpet - does it require seat and the centre gear box console removal. Secondly, anyone here fitted a new hood to a 390 - are instructions included in the hoods you can buy (eg from Prestige Car Hoods) Any help is much appreciated, just lining up a few winter month projects.

There was an ad in Sprint within the last year for carpets (all models made etc) at around £350 ish (fit yourself). I have just moved and its in a box somewhere, anyone else have thier number?. The seats may need to come out, depending on the cut. Not sure about the tunnel, my old 350I it was tucked under the lip.

I shall shortly be replacing the very rotten carpets on my 1985 350i that has stood outside exposed to the elements for the last three years. Mike could you contact me by email if you have a set of patterns available. I wpould be happy to photograph the work and write an article for the web site
