Yes it's double entendre TVR time again. I need new carpeting for the 450 (not shag pile put nice wilton).
Has anyone replaced the footwell carpeting on their Tiv, how difficult was it to get the old carpet out, what type of adhesive did you use and where did you get the carpet from ? Alternatively does anyone know a good trimmer in the North East ??

Im in the same boat... Im reluctant though to pay £500 plus for a set of carpets when for that moneyt I would expect to carpet half my living room!.

I was wondering what is the difference between standard household carpet and car carpet ?

If you throw a bucket of water over your household carpet everytime it rains, then there will be no difference between your TVR carpet and that on your lounge floor It may even smell the same after regular applications

I bought the carpet for my 400 from Woolies. They are very helpful indeed, don't think they have a great range of colours though. This was not a problem for me as I needed Black. I used the remains of the old footwell carpets as a template and cut my own. Then had a local trimmer edge them in magnolia to match the rest of the car.

Hi Gareth,

The ref no from Woolies is : 290A-BLK (Long pile carpet) and I bought 4 metres at £23.22+VAT. This was apply as it turned out, but I didn't want to cut it to tight in case of a disaster.
