2 questions:
1. What is the youngest wedge that will qualify for classic insurance?
2. Suggestions of insurance companies that I could contact for quotations.
Thanks in advance!

10 years? so pretty much covers them all if thats right.
I use Sunninghill, did me a good unlimited milage on the 400
www.sunninghillinsurance.co.uk/about.htm

Edited as I can't remember what the actual price was and better not post an optomistic one.

RichardR suggested these to me a few weeks ago:

Adrian Flux - 08700 777888
A-One Insurance - 0800 279 1920
Auto Torque - 0161 278 5226
Jewell Insurance - 01622 693003
Sunninghill - 01276 486086
TL Clowes - 0207 392 1800

In my case, Adrian Flux beat the next best by more than 200 quid!

Don't know if this is applicable to you - but.

I was told to make sure my policy was agreed value rather than market value.

Reason being that if I wrote my SEAC off then I would get market value which would not be representative of a vehicle I've just had lovingly restored.

However, This policy does have a no commuting clause which has been a bit a bummer when my everyday drive is broken.

I use A Manning UK Ltd. Henley-on-Thames. Very cheap, very helpful, need to be a TVR Owners Club member, but well worth it!

I used Heritage (advert in Sprint) and they were cheaper by a mile. Got my 350i on an agreed value policy, 3k mls pa fully comp with £100 xs for the princely sum of £250.
Others couldn't come near that.
