Does anyone have a garage they would feel comfortable recommending in the Manchester-Rochdale-Oldham area?
I need an MOT doing soon, and though I like to tinker, there are bound to be some jobs at some point that I'm not going to want to do myself...

The guy I use is Stephen Heywood on Dye House Lane just off the A58 heading towards Littleborough.

He's looked after my cars for a good few years and is undoubtable the best (and most honest) mechanic I've had the pelasure to deal with.
He's not the cheapest, but I do believe you get what you pay for.

His main specialisation is Jaguars but he works on all sorts. If you call round there's usually a fair amount of exotica from Ferraris and Lotuses to Triumphs and modern stuff.

Also, he's very handy for me cause I work right next door.

You might want to try Lorezini autosports - George Street in Prestwich (opposite the village) Tel [phone].
Don't know that much about them but they always seem to have fancy cars on the forecourt and I have spoken to them - seem friendly enough.
