I turned left into a country lane (which I knew well) but hadn't driven down since the summer. After all the recent rain the mud from the bank had come out into the road.
All ended in tears and bits of fibre glass.
The chassis is damaged hence the write off bit (from sliding sideways into the bank)
No injuries, just felt like a right fool as they towed it out with a queue of traffic waiting to pass.
The tree didn't even come in as far as the radiator.
Ah well, that's my TVR ownership over for the forseeable.
Michael.

I called into the recovery peoples place on Saturday to enquire about the car, but the insurance people took it away almost immediately and they don't know where.
I could approach the insurance brokers if you want, but might not be that convenient as it is here in N. Ireland.
FYI the insurance was costing me (28m) £108 p.a. fully comp. and they paid me a (pretty much) non-negotiable £2400.
Regards,
Michael.

Michael, sorry to hear about your loss, it was a great looking car prior to your off. From your pictures, (ever the opportunist me) I notice you have tan leather seats. If you do manage to get hold of the car, please remember I am looking for a set of either tan or black seats, as the drivers seat in my wedge is knackered.
Cheers,
Peter
