Does anybody have a definitive answer as to how many 400SE''s were built ? Steve Heath''s books quote 242 total , yet a quick look a the TMS web site model history shows only 100 390/400 combined.

according to my infomation, I agree with Steve heath .. 242 between 1989 and 1991 (officially) Mine is number 218, and it was registered in March 1992 (J plate). I have seen a few on a K plate too. a lot of people with 390's that have the later front ends have changed the decals to show 400SE ... in the same was as the number of SEACs is far in excess nbow that ever left the factory.

If I'm reading the chassis # properly mine is #227 and was registered in January '91 as a 400SE . Colour is original as is the engine .

Yep !! According to the figures I have 242 is the number of 400SE's made. 15 in 1988 102 in 1989 81 in 1990 44 in 1991 Hope this helps Regards Broadside
